Ruth-Ann is the lady in the spaghetti strap dress with dark hair. Can't say for sure if she's a girlfriend (not my business really) but she has accompanied him to many events.

Yea, nobody seems real sure of their status, but most of the discussion about it I've seen on fan forums tends towards "It's none of our business until Nathan comments on it publicly." Which, despite my curiousity (and how jealous I am of her whatever their status may be), is just a really nice respectful attitude to see.

Nathan may not be at, say, Keanu Reeves' level of celebrity, but he is famous, and so often people have so little respect for such a person's privacy and personal life. Of course some celebrities seem to mine their personal lives for publicity, but I figure if they're not issuing press releases or commenting on it in an interview, it's none of my business.

That is not, however, going to stop me from drooling and wishing. Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?

I don't expect Nathan to pop and tell us about his dating life, that's not his style, but I'm always find it hypocritical how fans pretend not to be interested in Nathan's (or their favorite celebrity's) personal life. If we were only interested in his acting, we wouldn't be posting, reading in LJs and forums. I don't have a problem admitting I'm curious. Also we know he has a girlfriend, as he recently mentioned in a recent interview that he and his 'current' girlfriend have been dating for a little over a year. I heard RA was the gal with him at the UK cons in November 2005. Nathan doesn't strike as the type the type of guy who would date one gal, than bring others to premiers and social events...nor would a worthy girlfriend allow him to do so. And while he didn't mention her by name, but I have accepted that she is is g/f.
