Some of you know about my passion for William Daniels and the Revolutionary War period of American history......... alright, alright, we'll call it what it really is, my fan girl reaction to John Adams :P
Just found out, a series done in 1976, called The Adams Chronicles, is finally being released on DVD. (Hmmm funny timing that, with the HBO special John Adams having just started....) I watched in on a rebroadcast back in the early 80's and just loved it and have lamented about it not being released on DVD for ages. So I am one very happy bunny!

Well I took the plunge and started a community for an actor I have admired for quite some time.... and he isn't even one of my man bar items! :P

ElfLady found the recent edition of SFX magazine for me that has an interview with Nathan, who was advertised on their site as
"that big hunk of musky manliness Nathan Fillion, the star of Serenity."
Heeheeehee
It also features a review of the Serenity DVD adn a short chat with Adam Baldwin. I scanned all the pages in for your reading pleasure :-D

LJ Interests meme results
- alton brown:
Have always loved cooking (see cooking entry below) and have watched a lot
of cooking shows but Alton Brown's Good Eats is the best there is. He's funny,
knowledgeable and clever. He also has an amazing amount of energy and makes
damn good food!
- billy boyd:
My first love! Loved him as Pippin in LOTR. His humor and good nature with
his fans is just so endearing. Not to mention some of the loveliest green
eyes you ever want to see and those oh so kissable cupid bow lips!
- cooking:
Hmmm, have I mentioned I love to cook? So much so that I went through formal
training and worked as a chef in the restaurant biz for 10 years. Still cook
a lot (have a family to feed) and love finding new recipes or techniques.
- firefly:
Can't take the sky from me!!!! Was introduced to the verse only a few weeks
ago and was just floored! (Thanks Serein) I missed the series when it was
aired but now am so pleased to own the series as well as the Serenity film.
And then there's the Captain ;-)
- gaming:
I have always liked games. Board games as a kid, arcade games in my teens
and early 20s then onto computer gaming. I didn't get into console gaming
till my son pined for a GameCube to play Pokemon when he was real young. Now
we have all the systems (as well as 2 computers and multiple handhelds) and
I love nothing better then to spend a day gaming.
- hugh jackman:
Well, what can one say about Hugh? Legs! Chest! Legs! Arms! Legs! Dancing
in tight lamee pants! Legs! And he loves to take his clothes off :-D
- lord of the rings:
Loved the story when I was young (my mom used to read it to
my sister and I) but hadn't read it myself till after LOTR came out. Don't ask me what I
was waiting for. I'm slow sometimes. Loved Tolkien's books (especially hobbits)
and Peter Jackson's films just made it all the better (especially hobbits)
- nathan fillion:
I love my cap'n! You could say I am obsessed! I haven't met him yet
but from what I have read and seen, he is the sweetest guy and funny! And drop dead
gorgeous!
- patrick stewart:
I love my cap'n! (oops, did I already say that) Fell for Patrick
back in the Next Generation days but everything he does is fantastic. Not to mention he
is just lovely! I could sit and listen to him read the phone book all day!
- star trek:
Been a trekkie all my life (well as long as I can remember) My favorites
are the Next Genreation series then the original. Also love the films! (Well
most of them. The "Motion Sickness" was a bit much but they got
better! Favorite 5 characters are Capt. Picard, Data, Spock, Worf, Lwaxana

Just found this article from Associate Press
"Josh Holloway and his wife reportedly were robbed at gunpoint in their home. There was no indication that the robber recognized the 36-year-old actor, who plays hunky con man Sawyer on the ABC castaway drama "Lost," television station KHON reported.
The robber rousted the couple from bed early Wednesday, took cash and credit cards and drove off in Holloway's Mercedes-Benz, which was found abandoned a short time later, the station said.
Honolulu police would not release any information on the robbery.
Holloway's agent did not immediately return a call to her Los Angeles office."
How scary to be robbed in your own home! I hope they are okay. |

Well, went south to see the West Coast Premiere of Ringers and see my darling Billy. Wasn't quite what I had hoped it would be (my weekend) but it had it's good points.
